2013/2014 Season

Mark the Music

"The man that hath no music in himself, Nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds, Is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils; The motions of his spirit are dull as night, And his affections dark as Erebus. Let no such man be trusted. Mark the music."
- The Merchant of Venice

Every successful second season should open with an homage to the Bard. Come see how Sesquisharp reinterprets Shakespeare, chamber music style. Featuring chamber ensemble, guest vocalists, and a troupe of talented stage folk, this concert will remind you of the power of the written word and the written note. Including Shakespeare-inspired music by Korngold, Stravinsky, Handel and Gabrielli and excerpts from the Bard's most beloved works!
